Flower and Lei Shipping Information
Your fresh tropical Hawaiian cut flowers or Hawaiian lei flowers are picked fresh, washed and inspected. The flowers are then carefully wrapped in ti leaves (leis only), florist wrap, newspaper, insulation (if needed) and sealed in a Tropical Flowers box. This is a long box specifically designed for shipping our expertly packed but unarranged tropical flowers. The box has handling instructions on the outside to alert the courier as to the urgent and special care needed for the package.

All of our Hawaii leis and Hawaii flowers can be combined in one order to save on shipping, BUT cannot be combined with any of our other merchandise because it is shipped from a different location in Hilo. Located close to the airport, your fresh leis and flowers are packed and driven to Federal Express for same day shipping. Contact us for this option for multiple flower bouquets or leis to save on shipping.

If you would like to send a message with your flower gift to your recipient, we would be happy to enclose a free handwritten gift note. Please let us know what the message is in the "special handling instructions" area of the order form.

Please order at least 2 days in advance of ship date so we can process your order. In the "special handling instructions" area of the order form, let us know what date you would like your leis or flowers delivered. Call us at (808) 966-6048 if it is a rush order and we will do our best to accommodate you.

If you need your delivery earlier on the delivery day, FedEx can get it there by noon for an additional charge of $10.00

Shipments to Alaska is an additional $10.00 FedEx charge.

Some flowers are seasonal or in short supply at certain times of the year. We reserve the right to substitute flowers of equal or greater value.

Order in advance for your next special event. Contact us about our large quantity lei discounts. You will be surprised at how reasonably priced this is.

Once your package has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with the tracking details for your shipment and the link to track the package as it makes it's journey to your door.

Shipments go out on weekdays only for delivery on weekdays only. FedEx will not deliver on weekends or Federal Holidays.

FedEx cannot deliver to a PO box address.

West Coast FedEx Delivery Schedule:

We use Federal Express 2 Day service with delivery by 4:30 pm
Orders ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for delivery on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

*Exact time commitments will vary for specific zip codes. The times noted above are for MOST areas in the United States. If you need to know the exact time and date for delivery, check with FedEx (1-800-go-fedex) for their specific delivery commitment for your zip code.

FedEx does not deliver on Weekends or Federal Holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day).

SHIPPING DISCLAIMER

Because our flowers and leis are so hardy and will last a long time after they arrive, we recommend that you have them shipped to arrive a day in advance of the day you will need to use them.

HawaiiVacationGifts.com and the owner Double Brush Company. will not be held responsible for shipping delays due to weather, labor disputes, strikes, local service disruption, National service disruption, acts of war or acts of terrorism. We strongly advise that you schedule your shipment to arrive the day before you will need to use it, to ensure it is in your possession for your special event.

In the event that we are provided with an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, there is a $15.00 charge that will be billed to you after delivery has occurred. Double Brush Company will not be held responsible for delivery delays due to incomplete addresses provided by our customers.

Because our fresh flowers and leis are perishable, we can only insure the contents on packages which are signed for at the first time of attempted delivery. Double Brush Company will not be held responsible for the condition of any shipment that was left without a signature required for delivery. We will be held responsible for the condition of any package which FedEx has attempted a delivery and there was no one available to sign for the package. In the case where no one signs for the package and a signature is required, the package will be returned to FedEx until someone goes to pick it up or makes arrangements for FedEx to redeliver.
